Here is a listing of the prominent non-player characters involved in the setting that are not detailed in the official website.
Lady Amorette Dubec - Is an important druid and travelling
companion of King Milon. Her lineage is traced back to Dakor V when the
bloodline was hidden by the crafty Dukalle family during the
occupation. She was a key player in organizing the druid uprising after
the assassination of Saithith and is well known among druids at moots
as King Milon's high councilor to Druidia Minor. She wields the stake
Ashheart, a weapon which can only be wielded by Dakor V's rightful heir.
Dread Queen Rebeka II - Spawned by Saithith himself, this
powerful being established herself after Saithith's demise to rule over a
section of Daven that has become known as Arad. There are few to
depose her or reject her claim. On the other hand she outright rejected
Godric's claim to the throne. Lately she has proclaimed worship of
Salystra as the only acceptable form of religion in Arad.
Captain Erik Handy, aka Godric son of Godfrey - This notorious
pirate lord drafted a false bloodline in an attempt to rule Daven after
Saithith. He was a dominant force among the pirates of Selfhaven when
he took the opportunity to enter Elder Daven City under false pretenses.
After seeing the kingdom slipping into anarchy and being overrun with
undead he took as much as he could and fled aboard a fast ship towards
the Selfhaven Archipelago. Unfortunately for him, his ship was
infiltrated by minions of Grlarshh and he was turned into a ghoul. He
now prowls the trading lanes as admiral of a fog shrouded cursed fleet
manned by undead sailors and buccaneers.
Fatemaster Kain - One of the few remaining Saithith spawned
vampires, the Fatemaster has exiled himself to the fortress monestary of
Janora on the Isle of Eyes. Although a vampire, Kain has proven to be a
valuable asset in the defense of Davonians against the undead blight
and from invading Farland. He is the creator of the Four Wards of
Budekkahn and the guildmaster of the potter's guild. Surrounded by
loyal monks, that also serve as his herd, he spends many hours reading
the stars and making predictions. Kain predicted the destruction of
Saithith 36 years ago. A prediction that forced him to go into hiding
for a time.
Turlos the Guardian - Of the three remaining Saithith spawned
vampires, Turlos is the most respected. Before the occupation he was
the High Divarum Pontifice and regional authority of the Church of
Neltak. He was also the church's architect. During the occupation he
became the dean of the Daven University and Scholar's Guild. His
efforts are largely responsible for the preservation of the kingdom's
historical documents. He drafted the Empathic Treatise and oversaw the
construction of Maughus Thath. He currently is building several guild
halls and skill centers dedicated to Aknor within the Blood Baronies.
Ulam Thay - Adopted and raised by druids in Ruinwood, this goblin
became popular for his reverence for nature. During the druid
uprising, he was a fierce warrior and wolf rider fighting against the
dark forces. However, he was unable to break free of the Dark Will
outside of Ruinwood unless he stayed close to the monoliths along the
Road of Souls. Staying close to the monoliths he kept many refugees
safe from the horrors within Daven up to the time he contracted
lycanthropy. He now is the alpha fang in the city after which he is
named, Ulam Thay. He has closed the city and bids only his cohorts
welcome.
Patrick Felmark - The son of a serf has gained much popularity in
northern Daven as a fierce patriot and notable warrior. Felmark
organised resistance around the Crossways area and eliminated most of
the dark force marauders after Saithith's demise. He then served as a
guide and military leader to Kelerak 'restablizing' efforts in the
northern part of the country. He is also somewhat of a growing icon in
the budding settlements in southern Kelerak where many Davonian refugees
struggle to survive. In 8167, he was given Lord Knight status by
Kelerak and he led the northern crusade into the heart of Daven
eventually establishing the holy city, Heshtail's Lantern.
Kylo Tinskin - A nomad from the Stonewall Mountains, Kylo led an
expedition into the Kale mountains shortly after the rise of Rebeka II.
A skilled miner and blacksmith, this mountain dwarf has allegedly
stumbled onto the famed city of the near extinct Tendenarruk, or gnomes,
as they are commonly called. Kylo believes it will take 20 years to
clear the undead from the underground ruins and he is well known for
hiring cartographers and adventurers to delve into the darkness in
search of trinkets and evidence to support his claim. He has set up a
dwarven hall just west of Carnuris and welcomes those foolhardy enough
to seek out the gnomes heartland.
