8163 FR - The druids emerge from Ruinwood and engage the dark
forces west of the Mistyhead river. The disorganized dark folk are
forced to flee. Those dark forces that don't make it eastward or into
the Kale mountains establish several Kluj, or forts. The druids
infiltrate and lay ruin to some of the Kluj.
Rebeka II, the vampire, awakens from a long torpor and moves into the
city of Victoria. She takes control of the city and then lays siege to
Baronsdoom. After taking the city, she renames it Serpentia and
dedicates it to Salystra as a political gesture. Later that year, she
proclaims regency over the land between the Blood river and Baron's
River. She calls the new land Arad. None dare depose her.
Maughus Thath is established by the Guardians under supervision of the
priests of Neltak. The Daven University and Scholars Guild relocates to
Maughus Thath.
8164 FR - The druid Ulam Thay the Small reactivates the monoliths
on the Road of Souls and many Davonians flee to the safety of the
druids. Several thousand refugees settle along the Snarlgrass coast.
The Barghestians emerge from vampires feeding on dark folk. They
rapidly spread within the interior of the land and hunt down Davonians,
dark folk, and vampires. Ulam Thay, while in wolf form, faces a greater
barghest in battle. Nearly killed, Ulam Thay flees to Zeel City but is
cursed with lycanthropy.
Gnomes are rediscovered in the area of the Blackrock Breaks. They
quietly had been mining the salt in that area for some time. The gnomes
corner the market on salt and establish the Salt Empire. The salt is
sold in markets in all seven kingdoms and as far east as Budumishi.
8165 FR - The druids establish the Shire of Five where many of the small folk settle just north of Budekkahn.
A priest of death locates to the Dead Hills just west of Elder Daven
City. Refugees heading west from Elder Daven City begin to disappear
along the Road of Souls. The Road of Souls is no longer safe. It is
believed that there is a hidden city devoted to the worship of Grlarshh
somewhere in the Dead Hills.
The coastal town and city populations swell from refugees fleeing the
interior of Daven. Budekkahn and the monastery fortress of Janora are
established and dedicated to Dekk and Janora. The Fatemaster Kain
exiles himself to the Isle of Eyes.
8166 FR - Kaval the White, a legendary stallion, is seen in the
Ruinwood. The druids invite horse breeders from Kale to drive herds
into the plains just east of Ruinwood. The Kaval breed is established
and many of the ranchers from Kale settle in the area. They become
known as the Horse Barons.
Zeel City falls to werewolves and the city is renamed after the werewolf leader, Ulam Thay.
Godric proclaims himself the rightful heir to the throne of Daven.
Rebeka II denounces Godric's claim and accuses Godric of being an
impostor. Godric declares Rebeka II an enemy to the state and tries
unsuccessfully to raise an army to invade Arad.
8167 FR - A council of Woodland Fey declare the Southwood off
limits to dark forces and undead. An increase in the magical beast
population in the wood makes it clear that the council is ready to back
the decree.
Rebeka II receives Salystra's favor and learns one of the many secrets
of blood warping and Serpentia becomes a pit of abhorrent monster
spawning. Later in the year, Rebeka II invades the Southwood with her
abhorrent army and starts the Southwood War.
During an intense religious revival, several clerics from Kelerak fund
multiple expeditions into northern Daven starting the Kantor crusades.
The Lord Knight, Patrick Felmark leads a successful expedition into the
heart of Daven and establishes Heshtail's Lantern. The crusader city of
Kantor is also established.
8168 FR - The druids form the Circle of Sulis and Tanarus to
control and enforce druidic law within Druidia Minor. They rename New
Daven to Daven City and invite ambassadors from Kale and Kelerak to
reside there.
A mining expedition west of Carnuris is led by Kylo Tinskin of the dwarf
clan Tinskin. He discovers within the Kale mountains the remains of a
large underground metropolis now crawling with wights and troll zombies.
It is believed to be the long lost home of the gnomes,
Sheltinnobortanu.
Arden, Irrol, and Necrovia declare Free City status and set up city
councils to govern those Davonians living within city limits.
8169 FR - The Circle of Sulis and Tanarus announce the Druid
Spring, a celebration within Druidia Minor, and the entire region west
of the Mistyhead river becomes a cornucopia of natural abundance.
The Blood Barons emerge along the coast between Maughus Thath and Elder
Daven City. They seek autonomy and petition a peaceful agreement using
political pull through the Guilds. The Empathic Treatise is ratified
among the Blood Barons and is supported by Kale and Kelerak under
probationary overseers.
Godric's true identity is revealed as the notorious pirate, Captain Erik
Handy. He loots Elder Daven City and sets sail for the Selfhaven
Archipelago. On his way he is turned into a ghoul by minions of
Grlarshh and he is cursed to plunder and pillage along the coast.
8170 FR - The stake, Ashheart, is crafted in the Ruinwood and
delivered to Amorrete Dubec. Ashheart can only be wielded by those of
Dakor V's bloodline.
Farland sends a fleet to invade fallen Daven and they are defeated at
Budekkahn by Fatemaster Kain's Four Wards of Budekkahn constructs.
Several of their ships are captured and those that head back to Farland
are said to have been taken by the ghoul fleet.
At the beginning of Flamgos, priests of Flamgart raise the deserted
capital of Daven, Elder Daven City, during Holy Ecstasy. Ash and smoke
fill the skies of the surrounding area for the entire month as the whole
city is consumed in flames. The place where Elder Daven once stood is
now called the Elder Pyre.
8171 FR - King Milon recognizes the Edict of Druidia Minor
re-establishing the land between the Kale Mountains and the Mistyhead
River, now Sulis River, as Druidia Minor and this land becomes under the
direct control of the Circle of Sulis and Tanarus.
